Description
Sea Solar PV System (“SEASOLAR”) is a distributed generator connected to the Utility grid under a Net-Metering Agreement with the client, at the facilities of the “Colegio de Ingenieros & Agrimensores, Inc. (CIAPR)” in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico. The client is a non-profit corporation charged with promoting the development and protection of the engineering and surveying professions in Puerto Rico. The system has special visibility due to the technical characteristics of CIAPR members and visitors to the facilities. It has a capacity of 166 kWac (182.6 kWp), generated by 544 Jinko polycrystalline solar panels, located at the building rooftop on fixed-tilt racking arrays. It is provided with four (4) Sunny Tri-Power Core 1 inverters. The system was commissioned and has been operational as of July 2020. It was granted an incentive award from the Puerto Rico Green Energy Fund.
